LAKE PLACID, NY – With two teams filled to the brim with U SPORTS all-stars, the best of Canadian university hockey returned to the international stage representing their nation at the Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games.

After failing to win gold in both tournaments since the Trentino 2013 Winter University Games, Canada’s mission was clear near home soil, as they played their way through northern New York, to Lake Placid, and to double gold in men’s and women’s hockey.

This is that story.
