TORONTO, ON – The 2023-24 U SPORTS men’s hockey season is upon us from the AUS to Canada West, with every team vying for a spot at the 2024 University Cup in Toronto.
Hosted at the TMU Bold’s home rink at the former Maple Leaf Gardens, the 2024 edition of the tournament marks the first time the U CUP will be awarded in Toronto since 1997, when the University of Toronto hosted the tournament at the same building.
The UNB Reds enter the new season as defending champions, having defeated the Alberta Golden Bears in Charlottetown, PEI, last season, winning their first U CUP since 2019 and ninth in program history.
